On its Facebook page, the Meadows Home For Special Care posted that it’s asking family and friends to limit visits.
They ask not to visit the facility if you are sick.
Recreation programs at The Meadows have been cancelled.
They remind people when visiting to wash your hands when entering and leaving the facility.
According to the Public Health Agency of Canada’s web page noroviruses cause gastroenteritis, an illness that usually includes diarrhea and/or vomiting and are very infectious.
