The Cape Light is no longer hidden.
The lighthouse on Cape Sable Island has been covered by staging and plywood while repair and renovation work was being done.
All that came off today.
Clark’s Harbour Mayor Leigh Stoddart says they will celebrate the new look this summer.
“During August 12th celebrations we have Cape Day, and this is Canada’s 150th birthday so we’ll incorporate that into the whole scheme of things.”
The Cape Sable Lighthouse is the tallest lighthouse in the Maritimes.
