Planning for Yarmouth’s largest festival is under way.
Seafest happens every July, but volunteers are needed well in advance to ensure success.
A recent meeting saw a few new volunteers.
Festival President David Outhouse says he’d like to see more offer their services.
“Would like to see quite a few more people show up. There are a lot of good new ideas, hopefully we can put those to action and bring some new things to Seafest this year. I’d like to see another 15-20 people turn out regularly for meetings.”
The next meeting is March 28th, 6pm at the Rodd Grand Hotel.
Events like the Roaring 20s car show, Parade of Lights, rum running races, mackerel toss and more highlight the summertime festival, a celebration of life by the sea.
