The NDP is ready to nominate three local candidates for the next provincial election.
David Ollie has been chosen for Yarmouth.
Ollie is the Town Crier, and ran for the NDP provincially in 2009.
He is currently a fundraiser for the Heart and Stroke Foundation, and chairs the board of Yarmouth Life Skills.
The candidate for Argyle-Barrington will be Greg Foster.
Foster is a teacher and has been elected to both the Argyle Municipal Council and the Clare-Argyle School Board.
He ran for the NDP in West Nova during the 2015 federal election.
In Clare-Digby, Harold Neil will be the nominee.
The Church Point native has worked for the Department of Natural Resources as a helicopter pilot and wild land firefighter, and is currently working on the NB-PEI Interconnect energy project in the Northumberland Strait.
The nomination meeting will take place at the Yarmouth Library on Monday evening at 6.
