A third straight Moncton Over 35 hockey tournament win for the Yarmouth Phoenix.
The group with an average age of 41 defeated a team from Moncton on the weekend 5-3.
Jared Purdy led Yarmouth with a hat-trick, Derek Boudreau and Curt Goudey added goals and Tom Cormier stood tall in net.
Moncton had beaten the Phoenix 8-1 in round robin play.
The team is a mix of over 40 and gentleman’s league players from Yarmouth.
