The RCMP say impaired driving is still a problem in Nova Scotia.
Driving while impaired on drugs is on the rise.
While only five impaired related charges were laid last month in Yarmouth, Shelburne and Digby Counties, Cpl. Jen Clarke says some people just don’t get it.
She says the public can help get impaired drivers off the road.
“It’s never ok. It’s a problem and we need the public to call us anytime that they feel someone is on the road that shouldn’t be.
Clarke says in January there were 18 calls to police regarding possible impaired drivers, plus two complaints of hit-and-runs.
