Over 5,000 customers are still without power across Nova Scotia following Sunday’s blizzard.
By six o’clock this morning, Nova Scotia Power crews had managed to return power to over 48,000 customers.
They estimate they’ll have power completely restored by seven o’clock this evening.

The Town of Lunenburg Electric Utility is working to return service to customers in the Silver Point Road to Blue Rocks Road region.
Poles and power lines in the area were damaged during the storm.
Crews are currently working to determine the extent of the damage before they can provide an estimate on when power will be returned.
