The Municipality of Argyle is getting closer ro selecting a peice of land on which to building a new administration building.
A sub-committee of council met Monday and reviewed a list of five properties sent in by the public.
CAO Alain Muise says they have narrowed it down.
“They have identified a smaller list of properties that they require additional information on and they’ve instructed the staff here to get that information and that work has begun.”
Muise says the final decision rests with council.
A number of short-comings were identified with the current building including a lack of wheelchair access on either floor, numerous code violations, inefficient wiring, heat, and lighting and insufficient parking space.
