Yarmouth RCMP have laid charges in connection with a rash of recent break-ins, thefts and vehicle thefts.
And they’re thanking the community.
As a result of input from members of the public, police say a 16-year-old male youth from Yarmouth is facing charges of
Possession of Stolen Property, Unlawful Possession of a Firearm, and Weapons Trafficking.
Cst. Nathan Jacobson of the Town RCMP General Investigation Section says both the Yarmouth Town and Rural RCMP Detachments
are grateful for the assistance.
“We received some information from some people in the community in response to this press release we put out last week, looking for some information about these break-ins. As a result of that information we were able to focus in on one person in particular that we looked at.
Jacobson says the investigations into the incidents are ongoing.
Anyone with any information about these incidents is asked to call the Yarmouth Rural RCMP at 902-742-9106 or the Yarmouth Town RCMP at 902-742-8777.
