A third place division finish for the West Pubnico Pharmasave Peewee B Mariners over the weekend.
The team took part in the 44th Memramcook Competitive Tournament.
They opened the tournament with a 7-0 loss to the KC Bears, Caleb Long was player of the game.
Saturday’s first game went a lot better for the Mariners as they defeated West Hants 4-3 in a make-up league game. Riley Hubbard scored twice, Carson d’Eon and Lucas d’Entremont also scored. Blake Lyons, Wyatt Nickerson and Caleb Long picked up assists. Lucas d’Entremont was named player of the game. With the win, the Mariners moved into second place in their league.
Saturday night saw them face St. Stephen, New Brunswick. The score was 4-0 late in the second, Riley Hubbard got two goals and Caleb Long scored with two seconds left. Final score was 5-3.
They finished sixth overall at the tournament.
