A major fund-raiser for the local VON takes place next month.
The Chocolate Lunch has become a tradition for many.
Derrick Babin of the Tri-County VON says it’s a great deal for 10 bucks.
“For 10 dollars folks receive a serving of rappie pie, a roll, tea or coffee and all the chocolate desserts you care to eat. It’s very popular so we encourage people to get their tickets early.”

Babin says proceeds from the event go to support the Tri-County VON’s community support programs.
It takes place Friday February 10th at the Yarmouth Lions Club on Parade Street.
Deliver and take-out is between 11 and 12.
