Clean up is happening across the province.
Snow and ice pellets battered Nova Scotia with as much as 30 to 40 centimeters falling in parts of the South Shore and Tri-County.
Some flights have been cancelled this morning at Halifax Stanfield International Airport.
Only one major power outage is was reported with around 5,000 customers in the dark for half an hour near New Germany and Mahone Bay.
Environment Canada says today should be fairly tame, with blowing snow being the biggest concern.
The agency has removed the winter storm warning from their website.
Meteorologist Barrie MacKinnon says he feels good about their predictions coming into last night’s storm.
MacKinnon says the next system is likely to be primarily rain.
“It’s actually going to warm up,” he says. “So, if there’s a lot of snow around we could have some issues with localized flooding.”
He says that storm is expected to come through on Wednesday.
