Normally, the Hurricanes play their regular season games at Queens Place Emera Centre in Liverpool.
Hurricanes Head Coach Shawn Woodworth says Yarmouth fans will be familiar with some of their players.
“Ben Charles and Max Nickerson are assistant captains on our team, they play a big role. Nolan MacDonald, Brendan Amiro are also local players, and Mario Boudreau who has played for Yarmouth is from Clare. So we do have a good contingent of players from down that way.”
The teams play in the Nova Scotia Major Bantam Hockey League.
Woodworth says Major Bantam is fantastic hockey.
“It’s the best of the best at the Bantam age in Nova Scotia. It is a good stepping stone for players that want to get to Major Midget, Junior A and even further.”
It’s an important game for the Hurricanes, who are chasing Valley for top spot in the league standings.
