The Yarmouth Boys and Girls Club Daycare is still operating out of the former South Centennial School.
A flood, caused by a broken pipe last month , made their centre on Bond Street unsafe.
Crews are still tearing out walls, insulation and any other material damaged by water.
Executive Director Jody Pothier says they’re not sure when they can return to the Bond Street building.
“Right now we don’t have a timeline. It all depends on once they’ve done the work of cleaning it out, whoever we tender, who we get to do the work, so it will depend on the contractor and how fast they can get things done.’
Pothier says the children are adapting well to their new surroundings.
“It was a new change, especially having big hallways, so there’s a little more space to run around. The kids think its great.”
Approximately 50 families are registered with the Yarmouth Boys and Girls Club at that location.
