Wind gusts up to 90 km/h are creating choppy waters off Southwestern Nova Scotia.
The wind picked up last night and has not died down yet.
Most lobster fishermen decided to leave their boats tied up today.

Strong winds throughout the province knocked out power to thousands overnight.
As of 12:30 this afternoon, Nova Scotia Power was still showing scattered outages throughout the Tri-Counties, including Clark’s Harbour, Shelburne, Lockeport and Clare.
Winds are expected to diminish late this afternoon.
