Yarmouth’s mayor says town council will be setting its priorities for the coming year.
Two experts have been hired to sit down with the council next month and walk them through the strategic priority setting process.
Pam Mood says the process is important.
“To see where we are and where we want to go. i think anyone knows me well enough to know that I’m a firm believer in, if you don’t set those goals
and you don’t set those goal then you’re going to run around in circles.”
Mood says she has some ideas of her own.
“I think from my perspective from sitting in the mayor’s seat, our infrastructure really needs some attention. making sure we know what we have, the
inventory on our infrastructure, who do we have to tap into for funding.”
Mayor Mood says the social pieces are also important.
She will be striking a task force in the new year to look at child poverty and other issues.
