The cold weather has wreaked havoc at the Yarmouth Hospital.
According to the Nova Scotia health authority a frozen pipe has caused major flooding which has shut down large sections of Building “B”.
Mental health and addictions services along with several other departments have been affected and have been moved to other areas of the hospital.
The emergency department remains open.
Anyone with an appointment at Yarmouth Regional Hospital is asked to call in advance.
