It wasn’t a pleasant phone call for the owner of Adja’s Studio and Gallery in Liverpool.
The store’s front window was smashed and two pieces of art were destroyed overnight Thursday.
Andrew Danylewich says he’s angry and upset.
“This was just totally a senseless act of pure vandalism with no reason to do such a thing to another person.”
Danylewich says he estimates the damage is around $2,000.
Meanwhile, the community is pulling together and a Go Fund Me page has been started to help the studio owner.
Danylewich says he wasn’t aware.
“That’s very touching, I had no idea.”

Queens RCMP Staff Sergeant Derek Smith says an act of mischief was also reported last night.
Police have a suspect and are trying to determine if the two incidents are related.
