The two week event every December celebrates and supports South Western Nova Scotia’s lobster industry.
Local chefs create new and unique lobster dishes every year.
Madelaine Daues says Lobster Splash was created 6 years ago when she was on town council.
“It was part of the 250th anniversary. I thought of our lobster fishers, our industry and also I thought of some of our Christmas shoppers who did their shopping elsewhere. “
Dozens of restaurants in the Tri-Counties take part in Lobster Splash that begins tomorrow.
