Teachers are planning a rally this afternoon in Barrington Passage.
The event takes place at 4pm.
In an email, Lee Goreham-Smith, President of Shelburne County Local NSTU, says they want to promote awareness of the
current education issues.
The rally begins at the Richard Swaine Field.
Yesterday over 200 teachers, retired teachers and other union members held an information picket on Starrs Road.
Teachers have been without a contract for approximately 18 months.
Contract talks broke off November 25.
