It’s been a while for the Yarmouth Junior A Mariners.
They’ll step onto the ice at Mariners Centre for the first time in nearly a month as they welcome the first place Pictou County Weeks Crushers for a 7:30 start.
Entering play, the Mariners sit three points back of the Crushers for first overall in the MHL.
Yarmouth will still be missing some key players.
Forward Matt Barron remains out with a lower body injury, forward Brodie Butt will serve the third game of a five game suspension and defenseman Jon Mason will miss tonight’s game.
The good news is that defenseman Duncan McKie and forward Jordan Messenger will return to the line-up.
Yarmouth will face the Ramblers in Amherst tomorrow night.
