In the Valley High School Hockey League over the weekend:
The Yarmouth High Vikings lost 8-2 on home ice to West Kings yesterday.
Drake Johnson and Zach LeBlanc scored for the Vikings.
Also yesterday, Barrington shut-out the Digby Mariners 7-0 at the Digby Arena.
Jacob Symonds scored twice, Gabriel Penney, Chandler Smith, Jackie Nickerson, Tanner Bateman and Brett Smith each had a goal.
The Mariners lost to Horton on Saturday as well.
The Par-en-Bas Sharks fell 6-1 to the Avon View Avalanche on Friday night at Mariners Centre.
Miguel d’Eon scored the lone Sharks goal.
