It’s a Christmas tradition in the town of Yarmouth.
The annual tree lighting will take place tonight at 6pm in front of town hall.
The fountain and trees in Frost Park will also be lit up.
Yarmouth Recreation Director Frank Grant says it’s a great way to kick off the Christmas season.
“The town crews, I can’t say enough about Todd Muise and the parks crews. They’ve got Frost Park all lit up, the tree in place and ready to go.”
There will be speeches from local dignitaries, Th’Yarc Strolling Carolers will be singing Christmas carols and hot chocolate will be served in Frost Park.
Grant says residents are encouraged to come out, enjoy the tree and park lighting and shop in downtown Yarmouth.
