The replacement of the rudder on Nova Scotia’s sailing ambassador is underway.
The Bluenose ll is in Lunenburg for the project.
Three Nova Scotia companies, Lunenburg Industrial Foundry and Engineering, Snyder’s Shipyard and Canadian Maritime Engineering
have signed contracts.
A contractor to provide the manual steering gear is still to be determined.
In a news release the province says the cost will be within the previously announced $25 million budget.
