Team MHL South were eliminated in the quarterfinals of the Eastern Canada Cup Junior A Challenge.
They fell 3-1 to Team OJHL Hawerchuk this afternoon.
Four Yarmouth Mariners were on the team, forwards Andrew Martell, Matt Barron and Aaron Maillet and defenseman Noah McMullin.
Head Coach and General Manager Laurie Barron was an assistant coach.
Every Mariner player registered at least a point as Team South went 2-2 in the round-robin.
Team MHL North also lost in the quarterfinal, 4-1 to Team LHJQ.
The first place Mariners return to the ice on Saturday night in Truro.
