A man and a women were taken into custody after a failed home invasion in Western Shore yesterday.
Lunenburg RCMP were called to a residence on Lawrence Hatt Rd around 7:00am.

Corporal Jennifer Clarke says the residents hid under the bed as the suspects tried unsuccessfully to get into the house.
“It must have been an absolutely terrifying situation. Luckily our officers were in the area. We responded very quickly and arrested a man and a woman. No one was hurt during the incident and the residents of the home are obviously understandably shaken.”
A man and woman from Halifax, both aged 22 face several charges including Attempted Break and Enter and Possession of a Weapon Dangerous to the Public.
They have been released on conditions and will appear in Bridgewater Provincial Court in January.
