The Yarmouth Junior A Mariners won’t have defenseman Duncan McKie in the line-up tonight as they host Pictou County.

McKie got called up to Rimouski in the QMJHL and will play tonight in Quebec after making his debut last night.

Yarmouth is coming off a pair of losses in New Brunswick last weekend, but they still sit in first place in the MHL with a 12-2 record.
The Crushers lost last night at home to Dieppe, but with a win tonight would tie the Mariners for first in the Eastlink South Division.
Tonight also marks the debut of Austin Bowkus, an 18 year old forward from Los Angeles the Mariners recently acquired.
Tonight’s game starts a half-hour later than normal at 8.
