A funding agreement in Shelburne will go a long way to improving health-care services.
The municipality is providing $450,000 to the Roseway Hospital Charitable Foundation for the new medical clinic.
Warden Roger Taylor says the municipality is committed to the facility.
“It shows the importance that the council of Municipality of Shelburne place on the delivery of health-care services to our area.”
The project, which is expected to be complete in the winter of 2018, has an approximate cost of $3.5-million.
Vector Demolition Inc. from Bedford has been awarded the contract to demolish the former medical clinic.
The company will begin preparing the site for demolition by the end of the month.
