The Town of Yarmouth leads all municipalities in Nova Scotia in voter turnout.
According to Intelivote, the provider of e-voting services, nearly 37 per cent of eligible voters have cast a ballot.
86 per cent of those votes have come by way of internet, and 14 per cent by telephone.
The town says the average elector has selected over five council candidates out of the six allotted.
Three people are running for mayor and 18 for council.
The polls close on Saturday at 7pm, and CJLS News will present live coverage of the results on Y95.
