While the summer may be over and the Cat ferry season has ended, that doesn’t mean visitors have stopped arriving
at our shores.
58 passengers aboard the small cruise vessel “Victory 1′ will be arriving late tomorrow morning at the Port of
Yarmouth.
The 5-deck ship will arrive from Halifax late in the morning.
Craig Moulaison, supervisor of operations for the Port of Yarmouth says the “Victory 1” was originally scheduled
to come in today.
“I n don’t know if its weather related or vessel issues but it’s coming in from Halifax arriving at 11am and leaving at 9pm.”
Moulaison says Yarmouth and Acadian Shores Tourism Association will provide some information to the passengers
and local tours are being organized.
The smaller cruise ships average 200 to 300 feet in length which gives them better access to smaller ports
like Yarmouth.
