Aaron Maillet, Matt Warner and Chris Goreham scored, and Brendan Cregan made 26 saves for his first MHL shutout.
Cregan says it feels great to get the win.
“It’s a great milestone, but we’re focusing on team mentality and trying to keep this winning streak alive.”
Mariners Head Coach and General Manager Laurie Barron says the MHL Showcase is a great opportunity for all players to get noticed.
“It’s exciting for the kids, and its great that we got two points today. They all count, but this Showcase is excellent for the team and individuals alike.”
The Mariners go for ten in a row to start the season when they face the South Shore Lumberjacks tomorrow at 1:30.
