Two Yarmouth Junior A Mariners received honours for their strong play in the month of September.

The 19 year old leads the league with a 1.77 goals-against average and a .943 save percentage, winning five games.
Mariners forward Andrew Martell was named rookie of the month.
The 18 year old leads Yarmouth in goals with six, and is tied for the lead in points with nine.
The team is ranked third in the country, and sits in first place in the MHL with a perfect 7-0 record.
Yarmouth hosts the Amherst Ramblers Friday night at 7:30.
