More than 3,900 Nova Scotia Power customers are without power this morning in parts of Shelburne County.
NSP reports multiple outages in Clark’s Harbour and Shag Harbour with a large outage in Barrington.
According to the utility’s outage page, service is expected to be restored at 11:30 this morning.
NSP says the outages were caused by damage to transmission equipment.
Meanwhile, the Tri-County School Board is dismissing students from Forest Ridge Academy, Evelyn Richardson Elementary and Clark’s Harbour Elementary at 9:30 due to the outage.
Barrington High is also dismissing students at 10:20.
