Sergeant Dave Ramey says they received an anonymous call about a bomb and possible active shooter.
“We have to take them seriously every time no matter when and where it happens,” he says. “We’re not going to make light of it certainly.”
Ramey says a thorough search of the building turned up nothing suspicious.

“The investigation continues. We will do our best to try to locate who this person is that’s called, and go from there. But, it’s a step-by-step process and it takes time to do it,” syas Ramey.
This is the latest in a series of threats across the Atlantic provinces in recent days.
Ramey says police aren’t sure if the threats are related to each other.
Meanwhile, LCLC General Manager Kevin Benjamin says this is why they practice evacuations regularly.
He says the situation went as well as it could have.
“We were able to clear the building very, very, quickly and everybody was calm and we got out of the police department and the fire department’s way so that they could do their work.”
Benjamin says he’s glad it turned out to be a false alarm.
He says with the drama behind them they’ve returned to business as usual.
Thanks to our great Town police force @policenews and to our Fire Department for a great job and for letting us back in! https://t.co/JVxIM9FuDm
