Candice Roxanne Moore has been found not guilty of criminal negligence in the death of her nine-year-old daughter.
Olive Moore died after being run over by a van driven by Moore in January 2013.
This is the second time the case has been tried at Bridgewater Supreme Court.
A mistrial was declared in March when a jury couldn’t come to a unanimous decision.
Moore could be seen crying after the verdict was given.
The 11 person jury also found Moore not guilty of a lesser charge of dangerous operation of a motor vehicle causing death.
Moore’s lawyer says her client is glad that the ordeal is over and will now have the opportunity to mourn her daughter.
No word yet on whether the prosecution will appeal the decision.
