Nova Scotia Community College Campuses in Halifax and Sydney have been evacuated.
Bomb threats have been received against the IT campus in Halifax, the Annapolis Valley Campus and the Marconi Campus in Cape Breton.
Constable Dianne Woodsworth with the Halifax Regional Police Department says they are at the IT campus now.
The police are ensuring everyone has left the building and are searching for any evidence of the threat.
Woodsworth says nothing suspicious has been found but police are asking people to avoid the area as a precaution until further notice.
Cape Breton Regional Police are conducting an investigation at the evacuated NSCC Marconi Campus.
CBRP says Cape Breton University’s campus has also been evacuated.
As a precaution, all campuses have closed for the day including Bridgewater, Shelburne and Yarmouth.
The NSCC expects all campuses to reopen on Thursday.
Both forces say police will provide further updates as they become available.
