Police in Yarmouth are looking for a man who is approaching young teenage girls.
Town RCMP got a report last night of a 13 year old girl being approached by a man on Parade Street near Central School.
An investigation has determined the man confronted the girl at about 7:40 while she was walking her dog.
He asked personal questions including her name and address, and invited the girl to his place.
The girl refused before the man grabbed her by the wrist and attempted to pull her.
The girl escaped by kicking him in the leg and ran off, then police were called.
The man is described as 18-25 years old, five-foot-nine to five-foot-11, with short frizzy hair and light brown skin.
He was wearing a bright red hoodie without a logo, light blue jeans with rips in them and a set of black headphones.
The investigation has determined that a 14 year old girl had similar experiences in the past two weeks with possibly the same man.
Anyone with information about these incidents is asked to contact Yarmouth Town RCMP at 902-742-8777 or Crime Stoppers.
