It’s nomination day for municipal election candidates.
Those wishing to run for Mayor, council or school board need to have their papers filed at their local returning office by 5pm.
If a candidate does not wish to run after filing papers, they have the day tomorrow to back out.
There are 11 municipalities in the Tri-Counties.
In 2012, the Town of Yarmouth election was done through online e-voting.
That will be the case again this year.
The elections are scheduled for Saturday, October 15.
