The former scouting director of the St. Louis Cardinals, Christopher Correa has been sentenced to nearly four years in prison for hacking the Houston Astros’ player personnel database and email system. He has also been ordered to pay more than 279 thousand dollars in restitution. The Cardinals could be penalised by Major League Baseball with a fine and loss of draft selections.
There’s New Brunswick Senior Baseball in town tonight with the Saint John Alpines taking on the Fredericton Royals in a game rescheduled from July 7th. Gametime is 7:30 at Memorial Field.
