A heavy police presence in Digby County on Tuesday resulted in the arrests of three men.
The men were taken into custody after barricading themselves inside a residence in Weymouth Mills.
This after a string of incidents, including a report of a vehicle damaged by gunshots on July 8th in Weymouth.
Then, a man broke into a liquor store in Weymouth early on Tuesday and stole several bottles of liquor.
Through an investigation, RCMP learned the men involved were at a residence.
They sent the RCMP Emergency Response Team and Crisis Negotiators to assist, and after several hours all three men were arrested without incident.
The men are scheduled to appear in Digby Provincial Court this morning.
RCMP say the incidents are believed to be related and not random acts, as all parties were known to each other.
