Staff and clients are at right at home in the new HOPE Centre in Yarmouth.
The Handicapped Organization Promoting Equality moved into their new digs on Bond Street three weeks ago.
Their previous location on Main Street was demolished after a broken pipe last winter flooded the building.
They moved into a temporary location until the new centre was finished.
HOPE spokesperson Linda Vickery says everyone loves the new facility.
“It’s so awesome ! it’s so nice to go to wok in a spacious, bright, clean environment. It’s a big step up from where we were before. Anyone who comes in is just in awe of it.”
Vickery says the clients love it and can’t wait until their programs are up and running.
“We want to partner with Special Olympics to offer some things like crafts. We also want to launch a new Seniors Horizon club.
