Teachers in Nova Scotia could soon be back on the picket line.
President of the Nova Scotia Teachers Union Liette Doucet announced a strike vote will be held next week.
In a release Tuesday evening, Doucet says the province's education system is under attack from the McNeil government.
She went on to say union members cannot sit on their hands and let Stephen McNeil do to our schools, what he did to our hospitals.
The NSTU provincial executive approved a strike vote which will be held Tuesday, February 20.
Doucet says this will give the NSTU a mandate to implement a job action if the government is unprepared to back down from implementing the Glaze report.
