The Yarmouth Junior A Mariners are back in their first round series with the Truro Bearcats.
Max Robitaille scored the game winning goal in the third, and the Mariners survived a Bearcat comeback attempt and won Game 3 6-5 in Truro tonight.
Yarmouth now trails the best of seven series 2-1.
It's the first time the Mariners have beaten the Bearcats this year in the teams' ninth meeting.

Sensing the urgency of a win, the Mariners struck three times in the first 3:17, two goals from Mateo Short and one from Duncan McKie.
Cameron MacLeod would score late in the first, but Jordan Messenger and Aaron Maillet scored in the second to put the Mariners up 5-1.
The Bearcats would not quit, chipping away at the Yarmouth lead until Robitaille's goal made it 6-3.
Kyle Tibbo and Zach Moody would score in the third to make it a one goal game, but that's as close as the Bearcats would get.
Leif Hertz got the win in goal, making 23 saves, while Truro's Jason Rioux stopped 16 shots.
The Mariners will look to tie the series Wednesday night with Game 4 in Yarmouth at 7:30.
