Le 33e Finale des Jeux de l'Acadie is all over but the cleaning up.

Neil LeBlanc, President of the organizing committee, was extremely happy with how the event worked out.

LeBlanc was also very impressed with the volunteers.

Sixteen year old Chantalle Surette of Pubnico, a well-known figure skater in this area, competed for Nova Scotia's mixed badminton team.
She enjoyed meeting a lot of new people but she learned one thing that surprised her.

Twelve year old Bailey Gushue of Par-en-Bas was one of the many athletes who got to compete on the new track at Ecole Par-en-Bas.
Like Chantalle, meeting new people was important to her, especially at the two ceremonies.

The Jeux de l'Acadie flag was passed on at the closing ceremonies to the next host community, Richibucto and Saint-Louis de Kent, NB.

It will take place June 26th to 30th next year.
