The fourth annual Yarmouth Hospital Spring gala was a huge success. Saturday's event at the Rodd Grand Hotel raised over 36-thousand dollars for a cancer centre at the Yarmouth Hospital. That's about 4-thousand dollars more than last year.

Jessie LeBlanc, of the Yarmouth Whitecaps, was at a camp in Ottawa featuring promising youth teams from Atlantic Canada against Quebec and Ontario. Jessie was 6th in all her individual events which included the 100 and 200 Back, the 100 and 200 Breast, and the 400 IM.

The Yarmouth Clippers Soccer Club will be moving the Opening Day to Saturday, June 7th, due to Coaching Clinic dates.
