Few details after RCMP received a call about human remains in the harbour on Sunday afternoon.
Police say they got the call shortly after 4 p.m., when a person who was walking near the waterfront in Yarmouth noticed human remains in the harbour, on the rocks by the shore.
The person immediately called 911 to report it to police.
Yarmouth Town RCMP is investigating the incident.
No details about the identity of the deceased are being released at this time.
The RCMP is working with the Nova Scotia Medical Examiner Service to continue its investigation into the matter.
